Robe, the prolific moving light manufacturer from the Czech Republic didn’t hold back when it came to showing new products at Frankfurt, with 4 fixtures and one new controller highlighted.

The most significant Robe product on the stand was the all-new Color Spot 1200 AT, Robe’s first foray into the ‘super-power’ range of luminaires. With a 1200 W Phillips short-arc light-source and highly tuned optics, this is one of the brightest moving light fixtures currently available. The Color Spot 1200 is aimed at all professional applications, large clubs and installations, concert touring and multi-purpose venues.

Other new Robe fixtures included the neatly-sized Color Spot 250 AT – designed for a wide range of uses from retail to small and medium sized clubs, restaurants and bars; the Color Mix 240 AT, for TV studios, theatre productions and interior architectural illuminations; the DJ Roller XT for clubs and discos of all descriptions, and the DMX control 480 – ideal for DJ’s, small clubs, shows, stages and events of all types.

Aside from these, Robe showed many other products from it’s highly dynamic and comprehensive range of intelligent lights.

The new products all received “A massive interest” according to Robe’s Josef Valchar, who adds “The vast majority of visitors to the stand were of exceptionally high quality from the various worlds of professional lighting. We saw many wholesalers, distributors, designers and specifiers and other end-users. Business was very positive indeed.”
